Rules – Lost and Found Information System (LFIS)


Rules for Lost and Found Items:

  • All Lost & Found queries should be directed to the Information Desk.
  • You must submit any found item or claim a lost item through the Information Desk.
  • Only the LFIS Supervisor is authorized to post Lost & Found advertisements officially and validate claims.
  • If you submit a Lost or Found item through the "Post Lost & Found Item" form to website, the LFIS Supervisor will review and verify it.
  • After necessary approval, your ad will be officially posted.
  • Lost items are stored for a maximum of 90 days of lost / found
  • Please note that certain items may undergo security checks or disinfection procedures as a precautionary measure. While we strive to keep items safe, we cannot guarantee their condition after these procedures.

 

User Rules and Guidelines:

 

1. Be Honest and Accurate

  • Provide true and accurate details when reporting a lost or found item.

  • Do not submit false claims or misleading information.

 

2. Respect Privacy

  • Do not upload personal or sensitive information, such as ID numbers, home addresses, or confidential documents.

  • If found, contact the administrator for secure handling of such items.

 

3. Use Clear Descriptions

  • Include details like item type, color, brand, location, and time range of loss or discovery.

  • Upload a photo (if available) for better identification.

 

4. No Unauthorized Claims

  • Only claim an item if you are sure it belongs to you. Be ready to provide proof of ownership if requested.

 

5. Keep It Civil

  • Communicate politely and respectfully with other users.

  • Harassment, spam, or inappropriate content will not be tolerated.

 

6. Follow Up

  • If your item is found or returned, must report us about resolved/claimed to keep the system up-to-date.
